Astrology Readings

I have been studying astrology for five years, and have completed a certificate in Hellenistic Astrology, a qualification aimed at preparing people for practice. I love the symbols and the language and there is a relationship between the way modern astrologers use the symbols to make meaning and the way I might use images and symbols in my counselling practice to make sense of what's going on in people's lives.

I've recently become curious about including astrological symbols and meanings in my practice and so as a way to explore Im going to be offering astrological counselling readings at an initial price of £30 a session.

This is both similar and very different to counselling. Often we might look at the same topics but the astrology includes a significant amount of divination, by which I mean reading symbols to distinguish patterns relating to the past but also the future. Astrology is used to make connections between what is happening in the sky with the positions of planets and stars relative to each other, and things that are happening in the lives of the person having the reading. This relates to the past, the present and it's also possible to preceive patterns that might be in play in the future.

Different to counselling, people typically come for one session at a time rather than a series of weekly sessions. Sometimes people come every 6 months or so to find out what's going to be coming up in the next period. Sometimes people have a question about something in particular like 'will my relationship work out?' or 'what kind of job should I do?'.
